Who this page is for

Who Does Boldrails Partner With?

Boldrails runs its own payment, banking and settlement stack. A partnership adds something to that stack: a method our merchants ask for, a market we do not yet cover, liquidity in a corridor we settle, or a product that needs payments inside it. If you want to accept payments for your own business, the merchant path is at the bottom of this page.

Payment method providers

Mobile money operators, wallets, local card acquirers and bank-transfer schemes. Where merchant demand and compliance both support it, we integrate the method into our own platform and settle to merchants ourselves.

Banking and acquiring partners

Banks, electronic money institutions and acquirers that can hold balances, issue accounts or acquire card volume in a market we serve.

Liquidity and OTC counterparties

Desks and market makers that quote size in local-currency corridors, stablecoin settlement or the crypto-to-fiat leg of a payout.

Technology platforms

Platforms, marketplaces and software products whose own users need payments, payouts or accounts built into the product.

Introducers and referral partners

Consultants, agencies and industry advisers who introduce high-volume or high-risk merchants that fit the verticals we accept.

Something else

Corridor, licensing or infrastructure ideas that do not fit the five tracks above. Describe it in the form and it reaches the same team.

What we assess

What Do We Look For In A Partner?

Every track is reviewed on the same two axes: what the partnership adds for merchants, and whether it survives compliance. The table below is what we ask for in a first conversation, so sending it up front saves a round trip.

Partner trackWhat you bringWhat we need to see
Payment method providerA live method with real volume in one or more of the markets we serveAuthorisation or scheme status, API documentation, settlement currency and cycle, coverage
Banking or acquiring partnerAccounts, IBANs or card acquiring in a market we serveRegulator and authorisation type, entity jurisdictions you can onboard, verticals you accept
Liquidity or OTC counterpartyTwo-way pricing in the corridors and assets we settleVenues, size, settlement assets, KYC and travel-rule process
Technology platformA product whose users need payments, payouts or accountsIntegration model, expected volume, who holds the merchant relationship
IntroducerMerchants that fit the verticals and markets we acceptMarkets, verticals, expected introductions per month, how you qualify them
One thing to be clear about before you write: Boldrails is a licensed principal, not an intermediary. We contract with the merchant directly, we hold the necessary licences required in the markets we serve, and we settle funds ourselves. A partnership adds a method, a market or a counterparty to that stack rather than replacing any part of it.

How it works

How Does A Partner Review Work?

Five steps, in this order. Nothing goes live before compliance and technical review are both finished.

  1. You send the form

Company, markets, what you operate and how you are authorised. Attach nothing at this stage; a clear paragraph is enough.

  2. Commercial review

Our partnerships team checks the method, market or capability against merchant demand and the coverage we already run.

  3. Compliance review

Authorisation, ownership, AML programme and accepted verticals. Any partner that touches settlement goes through this step.

  4. Technical review

API documentation, settlement files, reconciliation and payout behaviour, tested against how we already operate rails.

  5. Contract and integration

Commercial terms in writing, then integration and a controlled go-live in one market before we widen it.

We reply to every enquiry by email. Reviews move at the speed of the evidence you send, so a complete first message is the shortest route to a call.
